IMPORTANT! This NASB 1995 edition does not include CHAPTER OR VERSE NUMBERS. Another edition is available that includes them. In this special edition of the NASB, chapter and verse numbers have been removed from the text. These features were not part of the original Biblical text as it was written. Removing them allows the reader to read the text without them to eliminate any distraction that they may cause.

The NASB is a smooth reading Bible translation with accuracy you can trust. Originally produced in 1971 and updated in 1995, the NASB is widely embraced and trusted as a literal English translation. The NASB provides superior accuracy with clarity and readability to inspire greater understanding.

The NASB has been produced with the conviction that the words of Scripture, as originally penned in the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, were inspired by God. The NASB is a precise translation that you can read with confidence as you conduct a personal journey through God's Word.

You might not think chapter and verse markers are annoying but just try reading it without and you'll see why I wanted this version. It's so much better! It reads the way a book should with way better flow. I read the bible to connect with God and the only use for little numbers everywhere you look is to reference the place you read to someone else, other than that, what's the point? Deleting all the annoying references and chapter and verse numbers will make reading your bible a much more enjoyable experience and you will read it longer because of that... the bible isn't a recipe book, you don't need the numbers!

Once you get used to navigating it's great!
I've wanted a no chapter and verse markers bible for a long time!
When you look at a "regular" bible after using this, it really looks cluttered!
)
Very good. I really like this version especially it is more accurate than other versions. Also, I love the text without chapter or verse numbers. More the way these letters were actually written. I would definitely recommend this version to anyone who sincerely is looking to read without the "added" chapters and verses, but as reading a regularly written letter or book.
Makes each book of the bible be read, and understood, in context as a whole book and not as a fragmented piece of literature. Makes each book and the entire bible clearer as a unifying message; no ambiguity, nor reading out of context. Great reading!
Read through the Bible every year using a different schedule and decided to use a readers form of the Bible without verse numbers and also chapter numbers although it is easy to tell where each chapter begins and ends. I found the ESV version first and really wanted the NASB. This has a nice active table of contents and lets me match to my reading schedule for the year.
Nicely formatted and offers a distraction free reading experience of the NASB text. I do not experience any issues with reading this on my and I read from it often. Since The Lockman Foundation apparently haven't announced any future plans to release a quality print edition without chapters or verse numbers, this edition is truly the only choice for those of us devoted to the NASB.
I am a big fan of paragraph format. Glad to find the NASB available this way. Reading without verse numbers really helps with my ability to read and understand with that artificial breaks affecting me.

Now I just wish it was available this way in my Logos Bible software. I buy a good deal of kindle books. I really resent the limitations on how I can use what I have purchased.

, Apple & Logos should really come together in the interest of their customer's needs. I should be able to make purchases in my apps on my Ipad. I should be able to easily import my kindle books into logos library to benefit from the tools there. I buy content from all 3, but it feels like they are working against me. Would love to be able to combine my libraries!!!
I really like just having the text of the Bible available with no other distractions, so you can get into the overall flow of thought, and not be so quick to isolate a portion from its surrounding context. So, for a reader version it's great!

That said, I would not trade off the chapter, verse numbers, and cross references for study and following along with others. But I do enjoy having this, and kind of wish other notable versions would consider making the same format available.
